In the large world of grief and widowhood, I speak from my own unique experience, hence "my wee widow world" moniker emerged. 2011 at age 48, my high school sweetheart and husband died 2 days after being ejected from his car in a 1 vehicle auto accident. Our kids were 10 and 22 at the time. On 6/11/16 I married my mid-life sweetheart. I wear my current husband’s wedding ring on my left-hand, my late-husband’s wedding ring on my right-hand. When I bring my hands together with interlocking fingers…I am whole. Though married, I am also widowed after 30 years with the father of my children. God surrounded me with widows at the beginning of my journey; I hope my ramblings from my own little corner of this vast world will bring even one person HOPE.
